97-SHIKI coming all the way from Chicago, USA
They play loud, weird, frantic, angular, underground/rock/punk/hardcore music. Sounding like a mashup of many of their previous bands, Fourth Rotor (Kammy Lee & Douglas Ward), V.Reverse (Patrick Scott and Douglas), Weather, Kill Sadie, My Lai (Patrick), HeWhoCorrupts , Kung Fu Rick (Ryan Durkin) to name a few.

It’s a band with four strong personalities that all get their ideas out in their driving, pulsing, cutting tunes. With a long shared background in the Chicago DiY underground music scene, 97-shiki is already touring and self releasing music. Playing out since spring 2008, look for 97-shiki to be making noise and venting their heads in basements, houses, clubs and halls all over the place in the months and years to come
